How Long Does Etizolam Take to Peak?
The onset, come up and peak of a substance will vary from person to person. Less experienced users and people with faster metabolisms will generally peak faster than those who are experienced, or have slower metabolisms.
Etizolam has a long total duration, when counting the after effects as part of the total. You can expect a total duration of around 7 hours, but the after effects can be present for several hours afterwards, sometimes up to 24 hours and beyond.
The initial onset should take no more than 15 – 30 minutes, with the slow, but steady come up taking around 30 minutes to an hour. To reach its peak, Etizolam will typically take around 1.5 to 2 hours, and the peak of the drug can last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours.
The offset (comedown) will usually drag out for around 2 hours, with the after effects coming into play from there on out.
Compared to Xanax, which tends to peak faster but for a shorter period of time (1-2 hours), Etizolam is an effective medication for those who need longer periods of relief from whatever problems the drug is being employed to treat.
